Job Description

Excellent opportunity to join a leading Insurance provider new to the Reigate area, offering first rate training, benefits, study sponsorship and long term career progression.

Specialising in either motor or household, you will monitor and control the technical risk pricing of Insurance products, maximizing profitable growth through customer profiling, analysis of performance from product to rating factor level; analysis of trends in the acquisition of new business, cancellations and retention.

You will have Minimum of 3-5 years in-depth experience in an actuarial pricing environment. A detailed understanding and experience of using actuarial pricing tools and techniques (for example, Emblem, Rate Assessor and Classifier). Significant experience in the interpretation of actuarial analysis and implementation into a business context. A good working knowledge of the personal lines market, and key industry issues/challenges. Experience in providing senior management with actuarial advice and direction. Educated to a high level in mathematics/statistics or a business related subject. ACII preferred.

Salary £35,000- £50,000+ (DOE – Developing competent and or part qualified Actuary
