Job Description
Excellent opportunity to join a leading Insurance provider new to the Reigate area, offering first rate training, benefits, study sponsorship and long term career progression.
Your key challenge will be to monitor performance, recommend changes and update underwriting rules within the companies system whilst also providing technical guidance to a variety of other departments as requested.
They will give you plenty of scope to act on your own initiative, to identify opportunities and to develop products.
A Minimum of 1-2 years in depth experience in a Household/Motor underwriting environment is essential.
A sound understanding of underwriting principles and experience of a wide range of technical issues, including the construction of policy wordings.
A sound understanding of numbers and the ability to quickly identify inconsistencies in data.
Progress towards ACII preferred.
PC skills essential (Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook).
Salary £26,000-35,000+ DOE
